Dialogue, Mediation & Peace Support Structures
Engjellushe Morina joined our team in the Dialogue, Mediation and Peace Support Structures Programme in early 2016. Engjellushe will be leading the Study on Inside Mediation in the OSCE area (countries of Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine).
She has authored and co-authored numerous reports and analyses on the political economy of Kosovo and the country’s current affairs and continues as a regular contributor of editorials to Kosovo and regional newspapers. Recently Engjellushe conducted academic research in the areas of non-state actors and religious associations as governance actors (case of Hezbollah in Lebanon), and the role of EU External Action Service in facilitating negotiations between Kosovo-Serbia and Talks with Iran.
Engjellushe studied Greek and Roman Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London (UCL), International Relations and Diplomatic Studies at Oxford University (Somerville College) and Public Administration at Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, and has lectured on Kosovo and the region at universities in the US and Europe and in the Balkans.
