Conflict-sensitive refugee work
Dagmar Nolden works as Project Manager for the Programme Peace Education & Global Learning. She is involved in the project Conflict-sensitive refugee work: Accompanying, qualifying and encouraging volunteers. Previously, she was involved in the project Peace Counts on Tour.
Before joining the Berghof Foundation in July 2014, she worked as a legal advisor for refugees for the Africa and Middle East Refugee Assistance in Cairo, Egypt, and as a field researcher for the Feinstein International Center at Tufts University on the smuggling and trafficking of Eritrean refugees along the North-East-African migration route. She is a certified Do-No-Harm trainer.
Dagmar holds an MA in Peace Studies and International Relations and a BA in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from Tübingen University.
