Malina supports the Executive Office and “Friends and Partners” as a student assistant as well as the Communications team with the Annual Report. Over the past few years, Malina worked for an NGO, the Africa media centre (AMZ) in the field of international relations and journalism, as a staff member in a mindfulness centre and in the context of integration and asylum in Vienna. Equipped with a master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratization from EMA, she focused her master thesis on female interfaith initiatives’ engagement in peace processes, while in Cyprus. This inspired her to become a member of Religions for Peace, joining the 10th world assembly in 2019. She holds an undergraduate degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Vienna and Copenhagen. Throughout her studies, she was particularly interested in human rights cinema and involved in two film projects. One of her eager future aspirations is to bring mindfulness and compassion into conflict transformation.
