“Non-violent Approaches and Dealing with the Past in International Conflicts”, Thomaskirche, Leipzig

On October 6, Andrea Zemskov-Züge, project manager with our Caucasus porgramme, and Berghof Foundation’s guest Saida Vozba (World Without Violence, Abkhazia) participated in an open discussion at Thomaskirche Leipzig. The commemoration event, 25 years after the peaceful revolution in the GDR, was dedicated to the topic: “Non-violent Approaches and Dealing with the Past in international Conflicts.”

Saida Vozba introduced the audience to both organizations’ common work on history and memory in the Caucasus and Andrea Zemskov-Züge spoke about the Peace Counts project. The evening was accompanied by a performance of the famous Thomaner choir.
