Conflict-sensitive refugee assistance / Nonviolent Education Jordan
Dagmar Nolden works as Project Manager for the Programme Peace Education & Global Learning. Within the framework of the project Nonviolent Education in Jordan, she developed and implemented various peace educational formats within the context of refugee camps in Jordan. Previously, she managed the Germany based project Conflict-sensitive refugee assistance: Accompanying, qualifying and encouraging volunteers and was involved in the project Peace Counts on Tour focusing on North East India and Southern Caucasus.
Before joining the Berghof Foundation in July 2014, she worked as a legal advisor for refugees for the Africa and Middle East Refugee Assistance in Cairo, Egypt, and as a field researcher for the Feinstein International Center at Tufts University on the smuggling and trafficking of Eritrean refugees along the North-East-African migration route. She is a certified Do-No-Harm trainer.
Dagmar holds an MA in Peace Studies and International Relations and a BA in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from Tübingen University.
