Dialogue, Mediation & Peace Support Structures
Sebastian Sönksen works as a project manager for Turkey in our Dialogue, Mediation & Peace Support Structures Programme. Since 2007 he has been focussing on Turkey and the Middle East. After working in the Political Department of the Federal Foreign Office, he most recently worked for the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Jordan in organizational development. Previously he was active in international cultural exchange and public relations.
Sebastian Sönksen holds a master's degree in social sciences from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara and the Humboldt University in Berlin. He received his bachelor's degree in education from the University of Lüneburg.
